This is a catch-all for unidentified species in the Butyriboletus genus, some of which are unidentifiable based on photo alone. Fungi in the Butyriboletus genus have red or brown caps, yellow pores and stipes that turn blue when cut or bruised in many species, and olive-brown spindle-shaped spores.

Edible Notes: Some species are reported to be edible, however proper identification must be made first.
Warnings: Not known to be dangerous.
