Annulohypoxylon cohaerens

The genus Annulohypoxylon was created in 2005 and contains species formerly placed in the closely related genus Hypoxylon. It is typically found as a dark black globular mass on fall trees, commonly beech. Each small round blob shape is usually comprised of smaller bumps.
