Yellow legs, with black and yellow armor. Antennae are black. Somewhat large for a New England millipede, about the size of a thumb.

Found in forests, often under logs.

Edible Notes: Poisonous.
Warnings: Produces cyanide compounds. While they do not bite, they are not recommended to be handled for this reason. Not considered very dangerous to humans as long as they are not eaten.
