Common Names: Agrocybe sororia
Cap 5 to 10 cm wide; stem 0.5 to 1 cm thick, convex to broadly convex; commonly light to darker brown with a darker brown zone around the margin. Gills are attached; adnate to slightly decurrent; pale cream turning brown with age. Spore print is brown.
Found growing out of woodchips and mulch, often after rain, in the spring, early summer.
