Sherwood Island State Park is a park on the shore of Long Island Sound, in the Greens Farms section of Westport, Connecticut. It is Connecticut’s first state park. Sherwood Island State Park covers just over 235 acres in the Greens Farms section of Westport. It is bounded on the west by the Mill Pond and on the east by New Creek. People come to the park to enjoy various outdoor sports, study nature, fly kites or model airplanes, picnic, or just relax under the trees.
